Chinese police have seized 88 suspects in an international manhunt since July which targets corrupt¹ officials and suspects in economic crimes that have fled the county, the Ministry² of Public Security said Saturday.

公安部周六表示，自7月份针对在逃境外贪官和经济犯罪嫌疑人的海外追逃启动以来，中国警方已抓获88名嫌疑人。

除了在国内“打老虎、打苍蝇”之外，与各国警方合作展开海外追逃（international manhunt）也是我国反腐的有力举措之一。此次被抓获的嫌疑人中有人在逃（be at large）已超过10年。与此同时，国内各级政府也针对家人全部移居海外的“裸官”（naked official）群体出台了清理政策，有些人的岗位做了调整，有些则被免职。

说到manhunt，自然要说一说前几年网络上很流行“人肉搜索”（cyber manhunt），如果某个人的行为引发了一群网友的不满，他们就会把这个人所有的个人信息都通过网络搜索并公布出来。对于“人肉搜索”在网络中的作用，有人称之为网络私刑（Internet lynching），也有人称之为网络义警（vigilante of the Internet）。不过有一点肯定的是，这种行为一定是侵犯了个人的隐私权（privacy right）。
