Senior Chinese and US officials have wrapped up their two-day high-level talks in Washington to deepen cooperation in strategic and economic issues and further promote people-to-people exchanges.

The talks included the Strategic and Economic Dialogue and a high-level consultation1 on people-to-people exchange, covering a wide range of issues including climate change, cyber security, the South China Sea and a bilateral2 investment treaty.
 
During a break of the final day of talks, US President Barack Obama hosted the two delegations3 to the White House.
 
More than 40 ministerial-level Chinese officials were in Washington for the talks.
