世界最年长男子辞世 享年112岁

 

Momoi, who lived in the city of Saitama near Tokyo, was recognized by Guinness as the oldest man in August 2014. 

 

He died of chronic¹ kidney failure at a hospital in Tokyo on Sunday. 

 

Momoi, formerly² a teacher, taught agricultural chemistry at public high schools in Saitama and Fukushima prefectures. 

 

Following his death, Yasutaro Koide, a 112-year-old man in Nagoya, has become the oldest man in Japan, according to the Health, Labor³ and Welfare Ministry⁴.

 

Misao Okawa, a Japanese woman recognized as the world's oldest person, died at the age of 117 in Osaka in April.
