Critics and disappointed movie goers say the newly-released Chinese animation¹ "The Autobots" is a copy of Pixar's hit film franchise² "Cars", but the filmmaker and production company have denied the accusations³, insisting it is "independently produced" and an "original" film.

近日，有评论和失望的电影观众指出，刚上映的国产动画片《汽车人总动员》抄袭皮克斯的卖座电影《赛车总动员》。但电影制片方和出品公司否认，称该电影是独立出品的原创作品。

 

网友表示，该电影不但主角（protagonist）与迪士尼的《赛车总动员》雷同，就连中文片名（title of the movie）也十分相似，连海报（poster）的概念也如出一辙。

 

凡是跟侵权以及学术不端行为（academic misconduct）相关的“抄袭”在英文中一律用plagiarism表示，其动词形式为plagiarize，如，plagiarize other's work（剽窃、抄袭他人的作品）。个人履历中的“学历造假”则可用fabricate academic credential来表示。

 

说到抄袭，我们自然会想到近几年热议的“山寨”，市场上卖的“山寨名牌”可以用knockoff或者copycat表示，比如，that so-called new product was just a copycat of their rival’s latest product（那个所谓的新产品只不过是山寨了对手的新品而已）。
