There seems no limit to what can be bought via Taobao, China's largest online retailer1. The e-commerce player has pushed the boundaries further by offering services including paternity tests and sperm2 donation.

“捐精”可以用sperm donation表示，sperm这里指精子，如精子库（sperm bank）。除了捐精预约，淘宝还推出了亲子鉴定（paternity test）O2O（Online to Offline，线上到线下）团购（group-buying）。
 
淘宝聚划算联合国内最大的第三方医学检验集团（third-party medical laboratory group）金域检验独家首发此团购服务。服务推出3天内，2万逾名男性在全国七大精子库预约捐精（made appointments to donate sperm），有137人参加亲子鉴定团购，4060人预约了精子活力检测试（sperm fertility testing）。
 
志愿者只需选择所在地的精子库，填写身份证号末六位（last six digits3 of their ID card）等信息完成预约，三个月内到精子库报到，通过检查后就能捐精了，还可获得3000元至5000元不等的补助（subsidy）。
 
淘宝拍下亲子鉴定后，测试套装（testing kit4）就会寄送到户。用户按照说明，使用工具自己提取口腔唾液标本（saliva5 sample）后直寄实验室。10个工作日（working days）之后检测报告将以挂号信（registered letter）形式寄回。
