Chinese authorities will compile a cancer atlas1 for the first time and lower the price of cancer drugs, according to a newly released guideline.
据最新公布的一份行动目标指出，中国政府计划编绘首份癌症地图，并降低抗癌药物的价格。
 
“癌症地图”（cancer atlas）是指用数据、图标等形式罗列全国高发癌症。Atlas，map均有地图的意思，atlas多指由多幅地图构成的图集，有工具书的作用，而map更趋向常用的随身携带的单张地图。
 
近日，国家卫生计生委等16部门联合制定了《中国癌症防治三年行动计划（2015-2017年）》，计划提出了一系列目标，包括到2017年，肿瘤登记（tumor registry）要覆盖全国30%以上人口，绘制全国癌症地图，重点地区、重点癌症早诊率达到50%（early diagnosis2 of cancers in key areas should reach 50 percent）等。
