FOGO 社交恐惧症

FOGO refers to the dread¹ of going out, particularly if one is tired from previous socializing; the desire to not attend a popular event that is over-hyped or over-commercialized.

“社交恐惧症”指害怕外出，尤其如果某人因此前的社交活动而对外出感到厌倦；不想参加被过分炒作或过于商业化的热门活动。

 

这个词实际是短语fear of going out（害怕外出）首字母缩写组成的新词。类似相关的词还有fear of missing out（害怕错过）的首字母缩略词“社交控”FOMO，和joy of missing out（错失的乐趣）的缩略词JOMO，即不再害怕错过别人做的事情或说的话而体会到的愉悦。
