Chinese auto¹ maker² Chery has announced plans to launch its latest model, the Arrizo 5, in Chile later this Thursday.

The Arrizo 5 is set to be priced at around 15-thousand US dollars.

It's also due to be launched in other markets, including China and Iran, later this month.

The Chinese auto maker has been targeting the passenger vehicle market across Latin America in recent years.

Last year, Chery exported 87-thousand models globally.
