Chinese singer and actor Nicholas Tse's popular food travelogue1 reality program -"Chef Nic" is set to be adapted into a movie.

中国歌手、演员谢霆锋打造的流行食物旅行见闻讲演节目《12道锋味》将要被改编拍成电影。

 
The cooking show's co-producer Emperor Motion Pictures has announced that the big screen adaptation will be a 4D movie and will be directed by WaiMan Yip.
 
Besides Nicholas Tse, big names such as actor Ge You, actress Tang Yan and K-pop band CNBLUE leader Jung Yong Hwa are also set to join the cast.
 
The movie will tell the story of a local chef in southern China's Guangzhou city who competes with a celebrity2 chef from France for the ultimate crown of global top chef.
 
The movie is scheduled to start filming in April and hit theaters next January.
