Walt Disney Studios has confirmed that "Indiana Jones" is coming back to the silver screen for a fifth film.

Harrison Ford¹ is set to return to reprise his role as Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones Jr. and Steven Spielberg will again take the helm of the new film.

73-year-old Harrison Ford last appeared in the role back in 2008 in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull²".

Ford first portrayed³ Indiana Jones in 1981's "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

The four previous Indiana Jones films have brought in nearly 2 billion US dollars in box office takings worldwide.

It's understood the latest installment⁴ as yet has no title.

It's due to be released in July 2019.
