Commemorative Year of the Monkey coins 猴币

Commemorative Year of the Monkey coins was issued in Beijing on Jan 16, 2016. The commemorative coins have a 27 millimeters diameter and a denomination¹ of 10 yuan. 

 

2016年1月16日，北京预约兑换“猴币”。“猴币”直径27毫米，面值10元。

 

2016年贺岁普通纪念币，是央行在今年发行的一款纪念币，面额（denomination） 10元。因为今年是农历猴年，也被称为“猴币”（Commemorative Year of the Monkey coin）。尽管今年的“猴币”比往年贺岁纪念币发行量略大，但也阻挡不了百姓“抢鲜”的热情。不少市民一大早就在银行门外排队，兑换（to exchange）“猴币”。
