New Year's shopping festival 年货节

According to the latest figures released by China's e-commerce giant Alibaba, during its New Year's shopping festival, a total of 2.1 billion items of merchandise¹ were sold. 

根据中国电商巨头阿里巴巴最新发布的数据，在今年阿里年货节期间，消费者买走21亿件年货商品。

 

这其中，70%的订单是通过移动端完成的（70% of all sales were done through mobile），城市消费者（urban shoppers）购买了更多的农产品和特产（farm produce and specialties），比如酱肉和干枣（fermented meat and dried Chinese dates）。而农村居民对进口商品和国际大牌（imported products and international brands）更加青睐，比如销量很高的智利葡萄酒和日本护肤品（Chilean wine and Japanese skincare products）。
