Feb.23 - With the Spring Festival coming to end, most travelers are on their way back home, CRI reported.

 

Short-distance travelers are expected to congest the returning trains these days, according to Beijing's railway authorities, while long-distance passengers will arrive over the weekend.

 

Most returning travelers are coming back from home, official figures show. The number of returning passengers will peak after March 4, when rural laborers1 and university students come back.

 

Beijing Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station have launched plans to cope with the peak.
