China not to make kungfu movies in 2007

Chinanews, Beijing, Feb. 25 – According to Beijing Daily, China will not invest much money on kungfu movies this year, instead it will pay more attention to the production of culture-and-life-related movies.

 

This information is released by Zhong Hongsen, vice1 director of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television.

 

“It can be estimated that there will be more movies that reflect life from different angles this year, particularly low-cost movies. I can even say that the box-office winner this year will be more reality-based than its predecessors,” said Zhang.
