　Two Brothers begins with the meeting of two tigers in the jungle in South-East Asia. Mating in the ruins of a Buddhist1 temple, two tiger cubs2 are the result, each with very different personalities3. One shy and gentle and the other bold and fierce.

　　Meanwhile in turn of the century England, tiger hunter and artefact collector Aidan McRory (Guy Pierce) is attempting to sell some of his latest African collection in auction4. It doesn’t sell well, and when the following Asian collection brings in far more money, McRory makes a decision that will have far reaching implications.

　　Within time Aidan is leading an expedition to the very area where the tiger family is settled in order to retrieve5 some of the Buddhist statues that inhabit the temple inhabited by the tigers. After their fathers death, the two young cubs are separated. The timid Kumal is eventually passed to a circus where he is trained to perform under the name of Kumal – The Blood Thirsty Tiger. The fearless Sangha becomes the pet of young boy Raoul (Freddie Highmore), the son of the regional Administrator6. After a regretful incident with the family dog, who had pestered7 him for so long, Sangha end up in the private zoo of His Excellency, an unspecified member of local Royalty8.

　　The two brothers are destined9 to meet again when they grow up. But this time, they are forced to fight against each other as ferocious10 opponents…

　　Luckily enough, the two brothers recognize each other and manage to escape from the circus. But are they really free? Will they make their journey home in the jungle?

　　The story ends with both Aidan and Raoul entwined in the two brothers’ fates…

　　后来，为了弄到古老的佛像，Aidan带领的远征队伍恰好来到了老虎一家栖息的古庙。当虎爸爸被射杀之后，小Kumal也随之成了战利品并最终被卖到一个马戏团，从此两虎兄弟骨肉分离。胆小的Kumal在马戏团里被取名为“饮血兽”来表演。而无所畏惧的Sangha则变成了地方长官的小儿子Raoul的宠物。Sangha在和主人家烦扰它已久的狗发生了一次不愉快之后，被送到了一位地方皇族的私人苑囿。

　　当两只老虎长大成熟后，命运注定他们再次相遇，只不过这一次他们不再是兄弟而是角斗场上残暴的对手……幸运的是它们逃离了角斗场。但是它们真的自由了吗？它们到底有没有回到丛林的家园呢？

　　故事最后，Aidan和Raoul也无可选择地与两只老虎的命运交织在一起……
