Chinanews, Nanning, April 17 - In China, private image consultants1 used to be available to social celebrities3 only, but nowadays, most of the well-off Chinese can enjoy their service.

 

Take Nanning of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous4 Region as an example. When the first private image consulting agency was founded there 4 years ago. At first, it gave advice only on how to dress oneself and the matching of colors of the clothes. Today, its service has extended to advice on hairstyle design, shopping and etiquette5.

 

It takes between 200 and 10,000 yuan every year to hire a private image consultant2, depending on the content of the service. That is to say, even college students can afford it.

 

"Now we have more than 1,000 clients, including government officials, enterprise owners, white-collar workers and students, particularly female government officials, as appearance and etiquette are of great importance to them," said Feng, the manager of the agency.
