Chinanews, Jinan, April 24 – A total of 60,000 people, aged1 from 18 to 83, participated in a dating party in Qianfoshan, Shandong Province .This dating party, which lasted 4 days, was organized by the Life Daily and several units including Qianfoshan scenic2 spot administration and wound up last Sunday (April 22).

 

More and more unmarried people of different age groups are now looking for their true love at dating parties like this one.

 

“A man born in 1989 is now looking for a woman aged from 18 to 20.” This reporter found a notice written by the youngest man at the dating party. At the same time, an 83-year-old man, Mr. Wang, was standing3 beside his partner-searching notice board, drawing lots of attention form the younger people there.

 

Mr. Wang told this reporter that his wife had died more than 10 years ago, and he was looking forward to finding a partner to spend the rest of his life with.

 

In view of the prevalence of the dating parties among people of various age groups, Mr. Ma, Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Social development in Shandong University, regards this as a proof of the efficiency and convenience of dating parties as a communication platform for single men and women.
