Chinanews, Shanghai, Oct. 15 – According to Liberation Daily, more and more men in Shanghai pay attention to their appearances. Two hospitals affiliated5 to the Medical School of Shanghai Jiaotong University reveal that more men asked to take plastic surgery during the last National Day holiday, increasing by 30-40% compared with 2005.

Foreigners and overseas Chinese also take plastic surgery when they visit Shanghai. They will spend much less than back home, while they can also have satisfactory surgeries.

 

Experts believe it is more difficult for men to obtain satisfactory results from plastic surgeries. They are reluctant to tell doctors their surgical history and find it hard to bear surgical pain, making the whole surgical operation a difficult process hard. Experts also remind sufferers of high blood pressure, diabetes6 and heart disease of the need to be in a stable mood before taking plastic surgery.
