The ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) of Taiwan has changed head of Taiwan's "Executive Yuan", or "premier1", five times since it came into power seven years ago. Su Tseng-chang served as DPP chairman before he succeeded Hsieh Chang-ting as "premier" on Jan. 19, 2006.
