Chinanews, Guangzhou, May 22 – Since late 2006, Cai Xiaohua, 38, a Shenzhen citizen, had been riding an outdated1 bike to look for her mother who she had lost track of for half a year. She visited several places in Jiangxi, Anhui, Hubei, Hunan, Fujian and Guangdong provinces before finally finding her sixty-year-old mother Peng Linghua in Tianhe District of Guangzhou.

 

Peng’s home was in a remote town of Jiangxi. One day six years ago, whom her husband went to attend a banquet, he asked Peng to stay at home. But when he returned, he found Peng had left home. He was told that his neighbors saw her go out, and she told them she was going out for a stroll. It was the fourth time Peng had left her home and got astray.

 

Cai and the other children of the family felt upset and decided2 to go and look for their mother immediately. Then Cai went alone to other provinces in search for her mother. She spent a total of 140 thousand yuan for the travels.

 

Cai said that her reunion with her mother was a miracle.
