74 drug smugglers arrested in joint Chinese-Myanmarese actio

Chinanews, Kunming, Jun. 21 – Recently police from China and Myanmar launched a week-long joint1 action against drug smuggle2. During the action, 74 drug smugglers were arrested and 460 grams of drug were seized.

 

It is reported that the joint mission was carefully planned and carried out at Jinghong and Menghai in China’s Yunnan Province and Shan State in Myanmar. Police also seized the smugglers' grenades and other weapons.

 

According to the contract signed by the two countries, criminal suspects will be sent back to their homeland for trial.
