Chinanews, Beijing, Jul. 23 – According to the Beijing News, there were 90 thousand people injured by dogs or cats in Beijing during the first six months of 2007, with two people dead of rabies.

 

According to Beijing Public Security Bureau, currently there are 659 thousand pets in Beijing, with pet number increasing by 50 thousand from Jan. to May this year.

 

Sterilization1 operation is not accepted by most Beijing pet raisers. Among 600 thousand pet raisers in Beijing, only several thousand have accepted such operation.
