Chinanews, Chongqing, Aug. 3 – According to Chongqing Evening News, a she-dog named Huahua, has been regarded as a heroine by ordinary citizens in Chongqing.

 

Huahua’s new born babies were trapped in an isolated1 island in a recent Yangtze River flood. She swam through to the island twice a day to nurse puppies2.

 

Huang Pinghui, an ordinary citizen in Chongqing was the first person to discover the secret of the survival3 of puppies after he swam to the island several times. He said all these cubs4 didn’t open their eyes last Friday, and he didn’t find any food on the island. Later he found their mother Huahua came regularly to nurse them.

 

Many citizens have bought food for Huahua, and try to keep her healthy. Jian Yong, being one of those citizens.
