Chinanews, Shanghai, December 7 – Shanghai has upgraded the anti-malfeasance-and-tort office in its People's Prosecution1 Service into anti-malfeasance-and-tort bureau to combat corruption2 (as malfeasance and tort cases usually have very much to do with graft3 and bribe4 ) with anti-graft bureau.

 

The founding of the anti-malfeasance-and-tort bureau will help to excercise a tougher supervision5 over judicature and law enforcement to improve social justice, its major responsibility being to deal with the malfeasance cases that deeply harm the people's interest, and those who harm the socialist6 market economy, like the criminals involved in commercial bribes7 and those involved with local mafias.

 

Public tip-offs will be welcomed, and rewards will be given to those who offer genuine information.
