Chinanews, Beijing, August 29 – According to the State Administration of Work Safety and State Administration of Coal Mine Safety, by August 25, 2007, 337,210 accidents had happened in China, killing1 60,370 people.

 

The information was released at an urgent video conference dealing2 with the recent natural disasters.

 

Though natural disasters are responsible for many accidents, the loose security administration in many industries in China should be blamed, too. In fact, there would not have been so heavy casualties if security measures had been well practiced.
