Chinanews, Beijing, Sept. 12 - Experts recently suggest that couples who want to seek for a divorce should try an “environmental divorce” first, according to a report by Guangdong Provincial1 Women’s Federation2.

 

“Environmental divorce” means a couple that want to renounce3 their marriage live separately for a while. In Guangzhou, more people get divorced in 2005 than previous years. That year, a high divorce rate, 28.67%, occurred among women who had received higher education and worked in state-owned enterprises, a rate three times higher than men.

 

Experts said such “environmental divorce” can be launched in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai and other metropolises4. It can somehow save the marriage, they said.
