Chinanews, Changsha, Oct. 18 – A 20.08-km-long string of firecrackers made in Liuyang, Hunan Province will be fired on Oct. 26, on the Liuyang-Dayao Highway.

 

Chen Xingyou, a local official, said that 35 firecracker producers had made some 50 experiments to guarantee the successful making of the firecrackers.

 

Currently1 the firecrackers are still under production, and 500 workers will put the long string of firecrackers on the road on that day. Thousands of local citizens will watch this splendid2 sight.

 

A local official said that firing of the firecrackers will last for in 80-90 minutes, and he thought viewing the sight from a distance would be better.
