Chinanews, Beijing, November 16 – “It is our work to guarantee law-abiding foreigners a pleasant staying in China while those who don’t abide1 laws will definitely be punished,” said an official at the telephone and television meeting of the Ministry2 of Public Security on November 14, 2007.

 

The Ministry of Public Security also announced that it will work hard to attract more foreigners to China with a better social environment.

 

Police are required to perform their duty in a more civil manner, and no unnecessary violent acts should be taken. The lawful3 rights and interests of foreigners will surely be better protected in China.
