50% of Chinese businesspeople suffer from obesity

Chinanews, Beijing, November 27 – According to a report by Beijing Evening News, the health conditions of Chinese businesspeople are not very normal, most of them have cervical spondylosis, hyperlipidemia, gastropathy, etc, and about 50% of them suffer from obesity1.

 

The data is released by a joint-research conducted by several professional medical institutes, based on the result of physical checks of 366 Chinese businesspeople.

 

In the research, 65.04% of businessmen are obese2; 61.79% of them have cervical spondylosis; 50.41% have blood fat disorder3; 48.78% of them have gastropathy or intestinal4 diseases;33.33% of them have abnormal cardiogram.

 

The conditions of businesswomen are no better, who have a higher incidence of cervical spondylosis and thyroid diseases but a lower incidence of cardiovascular disease.
