Chinanews, Beijing, December 22 – According to local police, 17 brothels flaunting1 the signboard of a “massage parlour” or “spa” have been cracked, all located in high-end communities, with 67 suspects arrested.

 

Beijing police conducted a surprise check in such communities recently, and two of the hidden brothels were revealed2.

 

Quite a large number of brothels choose to open in high-end communities, which are considered to be “safer places”, and they make ads iin newspapers in equivocal but suggestive terms.
