奥运颁奖礼服中国元素大放异彩

    北京2008年奥运会颁奖礼仪服饰及主要颁奖元素发布会近日在北京“798”艺术区举行，发布了奥运会颁奖专业志愿者将在颁奖仪式上穿着的礼服和礼仪用鞋，同时发布了颁奖台、颁奖花束、运动员获奖证书等主要颁奖元素。

    A total of five series of costumes will be worn by hostesses at the 302 medal ceremonies of the August 8-24 Games, with each series being designed for certain sports events. Each series of the costumes feature three styles of suits - each for tray holders¹, medal presenter² escorts and athlete escorts.

    在8月8日到24日奥运会比赛的302个颁奖仪式上礼仪小姐将会身穿五个系列的颁奖礼服出现，每个系列的礼服会出现在不同的比赛现场。每一系列还分别按照托盘员、颁奖嘉宾引导员和运动员引导员的不同职能设计了三个不同款式。

    上述报道中，medal ceremony是“颁奖仪式”，costume for medal ceremony就是“颁奖礼服”，tray holder是“托盘员”，medal presenter escort是“颁奖嘉宾引导员”，而athlete escort则是“运动员引导员”。另外，奥运会“颁奖台”也同时出炉，“颁奖台”的英文表达是podium of the Olympic medal ceremony。
