女球员穿为男性设计的球靴更易受伤

体育科学家们发表文章强调，目前市场上缺乏专为女性设计的足球装备。他们说，使用专为男球员设计的球靴和足球可能会增加女球员受伤的风险。

 

The profile and popularity of women's football has soared in recent years. But most products are still predominantly designed for men. This even includes football boots.

近年来，女子足球的受关注程度和人气都大幅上升。但大多数足球产品仍主要为男性设计，其中还包括足球靴。

 

Women's feet are not the same shape as men's – they also move differently on the pitch – so wearing boots designed for men makes blisters¹, stress fractures and injuries more likely.

女性的脚和男性的脚的形状不一样。其次，女球员在场上的移动方式也不一样。因此，让女性穿专为男性设计的球靴更易导致脚起水疱、应力性骨折和受伤。

 

But the authors acknowledge there has been progress, and it's hoped many of the major manufacturers will develop boots specifically for women for the World Cup next year.
