据报道，至11月6日晚，因巴黎郊区2名少年触电身亡引发的骚乱事件已持续11天，但是骚乱仍有继续恶化的迹象。当晚，法国总统希拉克在总统府就平息首都巴黎郊区骚乱事件主持召开国家安全会议后表示，必须逮捕那些播撒“暴力和恐惧”种子的人并将他们绳之以法。
