idea hamster 点子王

一大群人一起工作或生活的时候，总会有那么一两个人在不知不觉中成为大家的“主心骨”。不管遇到什么问题，他们总能想出一些应对的办法，好像他们的脑子就是个大宝库一样。这样的人电视里会叫他们“智多星”，生活中也有人称他们为“点子王”，其实都是一个意思，他们是我们身边的idea hamster。

Idea hamster refers to a person with a creative, inventive mind who is constantly churning out new ideas or someone who always seems to have his or her idea generator¹ running.

“点子王”（idea hamster）指具有创造性思维，总能不断想出新点子、脑子里总有新主意产生的人。

For example:

That guy's a real idea hamster. Give him a raw concept and he'll turn it over 'til he comes up with something useful.

那家伙真是个点子王。给他一个初始的想法，他就会对这个想法反复研究，直到得出一些有用的东西。
