　　Millionaire Peter lost his sight. The doctor told him that only by doing a cornea transplantsurgery could he restore his sight.

　　Peter offered a large sum of money for the cornea, but time passed day after day, he didn't getany response.

　　Formerly, Peter had already been notorious . Because he was usually proud of his “wealth”,and had done many unscrupulous things, so as soon as the donor heard his name, all of themrefused without hesitation.

　　Even the toughest people also could not stand a long time of tossing about over and overagain.

　　At first Peter always spoke louder than others and got angry easily by his wealth, but later,the moneybag had no choice but to wait quietly.

　　One day, Peter wanted to bask in the sun, so he fumbled for the little square before thehospital alone silently. He raised his head to enjoy the long-awaited sunshine. However, he sawnothing but the boundless darkness.

　　Just as Peter felt despaired, someone hit him hard all of a sudden. That bump annoyed Peter,so he yelled, “Don't you have eyes? Don't you see who you hit! I'm Millionaire Peter!”

　　The answer was from a little boy, “I'm sorry, sir. I didn't notice, please forgive me!”

　　Peter changed his mind and ordered gloomily, “I can forgive you, but you must chat withme!”

　　The boy said yes repeatedly, when Peter nodded satisfactorily and asked, “Is the sun bigtoday?”

　　The boy answered merrily, “Sir, the sun is pretty fine today, big and bright.” Peter's face alsolit up with a smile, as if he had seen the golden sun, and then he asked, “Is the surroundingenvironment beautiful?”

　　The boy began describing it in earnest, “How beautiful! The green grass, the blue sky, theblooming flowers everywhere, and the little trees are also very lovely, when the birds perch onthem, they double up with laughter. The clouds are floating and floating, floating to the side of thesun...”

　　As he was listening, Peter began to envy that boy. Suddenly, he became cranky, ravingtoward the sky, “Oh, my God, the little boy is so poor, nothing but a pair of eyes! Why do yougive him light?”

　　再坚强的人也经不起长时间一遍遍的折腾。

　　开始的时候，彼得总是用大声讲话压过所有人，动不动就为钱生气，后来他什么也做不了，只能揣着钱安静地等。

　　有一天，彼得想出去晒晒太阳，他安静地摸着找路，要去医院前面的小广场。他抬起头享受着久违的阳光，可惜什么也看不见，眼前只有无边无际的黑暗。

　　就在彼得感到沮丧的时候，突然被人狠狠撞了一下。彼得被惹毛了，大喊起来：“没长眼睛啊你？也不看看我是谁你就敢撞？我可是百万富翁彼得！”

　　回答他的是一个小男孩的声音：“对不起，先生。我刚才没注意，您就原谅我吧。”

　　彼得变得忧郁了起来，他命令道：“我可以原谅你，但你得陪我聊天！”

　　小男孩反复说了几次可以，彼得满意地点点头，问道：“今天太阳大吗？”

　　小男孩兴高采烈地说：“先生，今天的太阳可好啦，又大又亮。”彼得脸上也露出了笑容，好像亲眼看到 了金色的太阳一样。然后他问：“周围的环境美吗？”

　　小男孩迫不及待地开始描述：“真美啊！绿草蓝天，鲜花开满地。小树也很可爱，鸟儿们栖息在树上。他们挤在一起笑啊笑啊。云彩飘啊飘啊，飘到太阳边上……”

　　彼得听着听着，对小男孩羡慕起来。突然，他变得脾气古怪，仰天咆哮着：“主啊，小男孩这么穷，他至少还有一双眼睛！凭什么你就赐予他光明？”

　　这时，一位女士打断了彼得的话：“你说错了！我儿子可怜到连眼睛都没有。她刚才描述给你的都是我讲给他听的！”彼得惊呆了，坐在广场上，霎时间热泪盈眶。

　　从那以后，市慈善机构每年都能收到一大笔捐款。捐赠人就是这位叫作彼得的百万富翁。
