  THE ARCHITECT AND A HIGH-SCHOOL
  STUDENT
On a coastal city of the United States rose another skyscraper, which was the designer Mr.
  John's top-notch work.
Tom was a high-school student. One day, he came to the building John designed and made adeep impression on the light and thin framework of the main building.
Back home, Tom searched for the material of this building from his computer. To hiswonderment, he suddenly found that the upwind side of the building was right on the edge of thetriangle corner, but when the strong wind met the edge, it would inevitably change the directionand rotate, and then the thin and weak wall was precisely the largest zone of bearing the wind. Hewrote a letter to Mr. John telling his discovery.
On receiving the letter, John used the computer to make a pneumatic simulation test. Itturned out that Tom's inference was entirely correct.
John proved himself to be a first-class designer, for in the short term he actually found asolution. When one block of prefabricated part weighing several tons was suspended on the roof,John felt relieved at last. His unique approach not only avoided the danger of the building, but alsoturned over a new page in the architectural history of preventing and resisting the wind.
